Ouch

Must have torn down more muscle fiber last night than I originally thought. Standing up from my desk chair is proving to be a difficult task today. Can't wait to try to climb up into the Toy later. It's raining. Looks like the trainer will have to suffice as the tool to remove whatever is causing this thigh burn.

Happy Hump Day.

Beechwood 2009

1st night - 1 lap
2nd night - 2 laps
3rd night - 3 laps
4th night - this is were the pattern stops. 3 laps tonight. I hurt. But not as much as I did last week. Parts of the 3rd lap actually seemed to go better this time. Maybe I kept more momentum because I was too tired to grab the brakes. Hopefully I will be able to do this on later dates... well, the mo' part, not the too tired part. No new blisters so I must not have had the over-fatigued death grip that I had on the bars last week. I hurt. But it's all good. Aiming for this in a couple of weeks. Hope I'm ready to do it. Plan is to train on the XXIX ss and race the dos Niner. Like being able to have that big ring to mash down the fire roads. Heck, I even was turning it in some of the ST at Iola. The plan for Wausau is to not lose the top five like I did last race. I don't know how or when they got away... neither do Sam or Joe, but I cannot let that happen again.

Happy Tuesday, oops, now it's Wednesday. Better get going and get my five hours in.

Beechwood... at a slower pace

At the end of the day, when all was said and done, I couldn't think of very many better ways to bring in the four-oh than with the two people I've been blessed enough to have enter my life.
